2020 marks the 50th Anniversary of the U's being elected into the Football League. The club & 100 years of coconuts have some exciting things planned to celebrate this special occasion. 100 Years of Coconuts, the football clubs history group, have created a commemorative T'shirt to celebrate & mark the occassion.
All proceeds from the T'shirt sales will go towards supporters initiatives and the groups projects

Steve Pyle was associated with Cambridge United between 1980 to 1986 making a total of 67 (13) appearances scoring 8 times. He signed as a full time professional in 1981 having scored 40 times for the youth side in the previous season.
Steve made his first appearance for the U's when he came on as substitute in a match at St James Park against Newcastle
He scored his first league goal for the U's in the 90th minute against Swansea and followed it the next season scoring twice against the same team
On the opening day of the 1985/86 season Steve scored a hat trick against Hartlepool. All the goals coming in a ten minute period after halftime.

Derrick Christie.--Del just pace and always a threat.
George Reilly. -- George unplayable ask wolves & villa who he murdered.
David Crown -- Crowny goals say no more.
